Painting with a Purpose Mission Statement

Through our Painting with a Purpose initiative, our mission is to give back to the community by using the power of paint to uplift and transform spaces that matter. Through our gift of paint projects, we aim to bring new life to local areas, expressing our gratitude and commitment to those who have supported us.

PAINTING WITH A PURPOSE 2025

Here at McLain’s Painting, we feel tremendously blessed to have painted so many local homes and businesses throughout Knoxville over the last 25 years. As a practical way of showing our gratitude, we actively look for opportunities to give back to our community and those in need. And, of course, the best way we know how to do this is through donating our painting skills and expertise. 


Our largest giveaway of the year is Painting with a Purpose, and we turn to YOU, our friends and neighbors, asking for nominations. Our Volunteer Committee reviews these nominations, then the top 3 go to our company for a final vote. 


For 2025, Childhelp was our Painting with a Purpose recipient, and it was truly an honor to serve an organization that works so hard to support children.

HOW DOES PAINTING WITH A PURPOSE WORK?

Our mission is to find a deserving charitable organization who could benefit from up to $10,000 of our painting services, supplied at no cost. Our team is ready to get to work, but we need your help deciding who could most benefit from this giveaway - please nominate a deserving non-profit organization, church, or 501c3 during our nomination window.


HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

There are a few ways you can participate:

  • Nominate an organization during our nomination window
  • Volunteer to help with the project
  • Donate to the project
